Beyond What We Know of Ourselves

What if who we believe ourselves to be is only a small part of what we can experience?
Much of our relationship with life is shaped by what we have learned, what we remember, and the ways we have adapted to the world around us. These patterns help us navigate life, but they can also become the boundaries of our perception.
Kundalini Yoga invites us to explore beyond those familiar boundaries.
Through movement, breath, sound, and meditation, the practice engages the whole person, creating conditions in which habitual patterns may soften and new possibilities of experience can emerge.
Sometimes, even within a single class, we notice a remarkable difference between how we arrive and how we leave. The circumstances of our lives may remain unchanged, yet something in the way we experience them can shift.
Perhaps transformation begins not in becoming someone new, but in discovering that we are not limited to what we already know of ourselves.
Kundalini Yoga brings together movement, posture, breath, sound, concentration, and meditation. Like the facets of a diamond, each element offers a different dimension of experience, yet all belong to one whole.
Some practices are vigorous and physically demanding; others are subtle, quiet, and meditative.
Through this interplay of effort and stillness, we cultivate vitality, mental clarity, and the capacity to remain present in the unknown.
The purpose is not physical performance. The practices also prepare the body and mind for meditation, creating space for awareness beyond the constant movement of thought.

A single class may bring a noticeable change in how we feel, breathe, and perceive ourselves. Yet the deeper value of Kundalini Yoga unfolds through continued practice.
As we return to the mat, we may begin to recognize patterns that once seemed inseparable from who we are.
What was familiar can become less fixed, allowing different ways of seeing, responding, and relating to life.
The practice is not an escape from life. It is a way of becoming more available to it.
At Beyond, our teaching grows from a long relationship with Kundalini Yoga, a tradition we have studied and practiced since 2005.
We honor these roots while remaining independent of religious institutions, organizations, and prescribed systems of belief.
Rather than asking students to adopt a particular philosophy, we invite them to explore the teachings through direct experience, observation, and personal inquiry.
Rooted in tradition. Open to inquiry. Free from dogma.

Our classes welcome beginners and experienced practitioners.
Each 90-minute session combines movement, breathwork, meditation, and relaxation, with space to explore the practice at your own pace.
We also offer a nine-lesson Beginners’ Course, introducing the foundations of Kundalini Yoga through a progressive and accessible approach.
